My GLP-1 Weight Loss Story
For years, I did everything right. I tracked, restricted, and pushed. And still, I gained 40 pounds. Starting a GLP-1 felt like finally catching a break. And for a while, it was. The weight came off, 30 pounds, faster than anything I’d tried before. Then came the plateau.
The medication stopped feeling like a solution and started feeling like a question. Now what?
That pause changed everything. I realized I had been focusing on taking things away fro so long, I had forgotten how to actually nourish myself. So I shifted. Instead of restricting, I started adding.
More protein to protect my muscles, color for nutrients my body was asking for, and more Mediterranean flavors that felt warm and grounding instead of clinical and small.
I broke through the plateau. Lost another 20 pounds. 50 total.
but the number isn’t really the point. The point is that I rebuilt a relationship tie food that I didn’t know I had lost.
